Licensed Psych Tech III - $27 - $33 per hour
KPG Healthcare is currently seeking a Licensed Psychiatric Tech for an on-going assignment at an LA County Psych Urgent Care.
Location - Los Angeles, CA Requirements:
o California LPT License - Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric TechniciansoBLS (Basic Life Support) with the American Heart AssociationoDesired Qualification:
Experience working with severely mentally ill clients providing therapeutic support and working on a psychiatric multidisciplinary team.
oWithin scope-of-practice guidelines, provides direct client care, completes required documentation, updates treatment team regarding client progress, and provides client, family members and significant others with referrals and linkage to community resources.
Qualifications oLPT I ($27 per hour) - California LPT License and BLS.
oLPT II ($30 per hour) - California LPT License and BLS with at least 1year of paid experience as a Licensed Psychiatric Technician oLPT III ($33 per hour) - California LPT License and BLS with at least 2years of paid experience as a Licensed Psychiatric Technician.
